Lilla Németh is involved in the elaboration and adaptation of automated tax solutions and the tax-focused development and implementation of our Connectax platform supporting the fulfilment of tax return filing and invoice data reporting obligations.

Previously, she was a member and later the head of the financial representation team of RSM Hungary Zrt. specializing in international VAT services. She is currently leading the compliance team of the tax business. She is involved in indirect tax audits, the solving of clients' tax problems and in the introduction and supporting of new financial representation and tax registration clients.

Continuously following changes in domestic VAT and invoicing legislation, she provides webinars and presentations both online and offline on digitalization and online invoice data reporting.

NAV Online Invoice reporting - how to prepare for July 2020?

More than 300,000 Hungarian companies have been reporting their invoice data to the NAV online invoice reporting system for almost two years. From 1 July, this scope will be further expanded, all invoices issued between domestic business partners will be required to provide online invoice data, regardless of the VAT amount of the invoice, the reporting threshold will be reduced to zero. Tax Authority (NAV) extends Online Számla 2.0 deadline

NAV online invoice 2.0 - the final countdown started

The latest version of the Online Invoice has been updated in the live system of the Hungarian Tax Authority (NAV) yet. Hungarian real-time invoice data reporting deadline with new encryption algorithm

From 1 April 2020, only XML documents created using the new 2.0 template can be submitted to the Hungarian Tax Authority within the framework of the real-time invoice data reporting service; in addition, a new encryption procedure will have to be used when reporting invoice data. Two months from now, every invoicing software must report invoicing data using the new Online Számla 2.0 XML template.

All roads lead to digitization in taxation as well

Also as a result of electronic data disclosures – real-time invoice data reporting, EKAER, or online cash register data – the estimated VAT gap in Hungary has decreased considerably in the course of the past 5 years, to 9 per cent in 2018. In the meantime, the scope of tax information possible to be digitally queried from HU TA databases is extended significantly.
